COP24 begins in Katowice

The 24th meeting of Conference
of Parties (COP24) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
(UNFCCC) began on December 3, 2018 at Katowice, Poland.
The COP24 is very significant
as it is expected to finalise guidelines for implementation of the Paris
Agreement on climate change adopted in 2016.
